Assistant Project Manager in Software Development
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software development projects. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring software projects.
- Track progress, manage timelines, and report on deliverables.
- Maintain and update project documentation (roadmaps, meeting notes, risk logs, reports).
- Facilitate communication between developers, QA, and stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Support risk and issue management, escalating concerns when necessary.
- Prepare presentations and status updates for leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT/software projects in roles such as project coordinator, business analyst, or developer.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar).
- Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Good to have
- Project management certifications (CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, CSM).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
- Basic knowledge of programming or scripting (Python, SQL).

Required Qualifications
- At least two (2) years of prior work experience in Figma
- Strong knowledge of applying solutions for optimal user experience (UX)
